Custom Guidelines
Every AINZAUL commission is a single unit built to specification. This page covers how the process runs, what can and cannot be changed, and how to read the code on each piece.
The process
- 01 Send the brief
Use the Request Custom Order form or DM the studio. Include the code of the piece you are working from, your size, and any reference images. - 02 Direction and quote
The studio replies with a direction, a price and a turnaround window. Nothing is charged at this stage and nothing is started until you confirm. - 03 Deposit and build
A 50% deposit opens the slot. Artwork, base garment, placement and distressing are locked before work begins. Progress photos are sent at the halfway point. - 04 Approval and dispatch
Final photos are sent for approval. The balance is settled, the unit is logged against its code, and the piece ships.
The code system
Every unit carries a code. Quote it in a DM or an inquiry and the exact garment, batch and unit are identifiable without further description.
AZ-TEE-01-ARC
- AZ House prefix
Marks the unit as AINZAUL production. Never changes. - TEE / ACC / DNM / CMS Garment type
TEE shirts, ACC accessories and caps, DNM denim, CMS open commissions. - 01 Batch
The production run. 00 marks a closed archive or a one-off commission. - ARC / SIG / 1/1 Unit or style
1/1 is a single that is never reproduced. ARC and SIG name an archived style that can be made to order.
Reading a code
- AZ-TEE-01-ARC
Leopard Archived tee — heavy gauge cotton, made to order from the current run. - AZ-ACC-01-SIG
Cyber Sigil Archived cap — available to purchase, made to order also available. - AZ-DNM-00-1/1
Gothic sigil denim. A closed 1-of-1 commission. Not restocked. - AZ-CMS-NEW
A new commission that is not based on a listed piece. Use this on the order form.
What can be customised
- Artwork subject, scale and placement
- Base garment, colour and fit within available blanks
- Level of distressing, from clean to heavily worked
- Hem shape, sleeve finish and collar treatment
- Text, script and lettering, including your own handwriting
What cannot be done
- Reproductions of another brand's trademarked artwork or logos
- Exact copies of a previous 1-of-1. Archive pieces are never remade — a related piece can be built instead
- Work on garments not supplied or approved by the studio
Timing and care
Commissions typically take three to five weeks from confirmed deposit, depending on the queue and the complexity of the artwork. Hand-painted pigment should be washed cold and inside out, dried flat, and never ironed directly.
Questions
Message @ainzaul or email info@ainzaul.com. If you would rather settle the detail over DM, tick that box on the order form and the studio will pick it up there.
